Proposals/Outlines/Sample Chapters:

Many authors today choose to self-publish their books, selling them on their web sites, at promotional events, through Internet sites like Amazon.com, and in book stores. However, if you are interested in exploring traditional methods of publishing, you must have a literary agent to act as your representative– which means that you have to market yourself and your manuscript to an agent before you even approach a commercial publisher.

To be considered by a literary agent, you will have to provide a standard package of material, which includes a 3-page book proposal, an outline of the entire book, and a sample chapter.

Following an interview with you and a detailed discussion of your manuscript, Plaskin will prepare everything you need for this submission, including a cover letter that positions you and your manuscript most favorably.

With his insider’s knowledge of the publishing industry, he can also help identify and target potential agents
